The Y’s Way to Weight Management
A program emphasizing that what you weigh 10 years from now is not dependent on what you do for the next 10 days, 10 weeks, or 10 months, but what you do for the next 10 years!
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
It’s a concept of real life weight management through the dynamic interaction of three aspects of our lifestyle: Adequate Activity, Sensible Eating, and Self-Empowerment. Get Real is not a diet program, it does not require rigid behavior or weighing in. Get Real is about a realistic lifestyle, making choices, feeling healthy, and having more energy.
Get Real is a weight management program. So, if you are trying to lose weight, gain weight, or just maintain your weight, this program is for you!
The GET REAL Program is 10 weeks in length. We will meet once a week for one hour. Cost includes book and class materials. EVERYONE is welcome!

Session 2: Mondays, February 2, 2009 - April 6, 2009

Cost includes participant manual and all supplies used during the course.
CHILDBIRTH CLASSES
Martha Testerman, Certified Childbirth Educator and Doula, has been teaching Bradley Method childbirth classes for the past six years. She has developed an abbreviated four week childbirth class. These classes are appropriate for those intending or expecting natural, medicated, induced, and / or caesarean births. Classes will be offered quarterly.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
A weekly study using the Beth Moore video series.

SILVER SNEAKERS® FITNESS PROGRAM FOR OLDER ADULTS
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and balls are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Classes are held on a monthly basis.
SILVER SNEAKERS® YOGASTRETCH
YogaStretch is taught from a seated and standing position to enhance the flow and energy created in combination with restorative breathing exercises. The class offers a variety of safe and effective options designed to increase flexibility and balance to improve each individual's sense of well being. Classes are held on a monthly basis.

RACQUETBALL
A variety of events and clinics are scheduled throughout the year. Look for announcements of Leagues, Ladies’ Night Out, Shootouts, City Tournament, Tornado Alley Racquetball Classic, and more posted by the courts.
KUNG FU
A unique opportunity to learn the self defense methods created by the ancient Chinese monks of the famous Shaolin Temple in China. Classes are held on a monthly basis.
